Job summary

KHON2, KHII & CW in Honolulu, HI seeks a driven Multiplatform Sales Account Executive to grow advertising revenue across broadcast, digital, streaming and social platforms. This on-site role partners with local agencies and clients to develop customized campaigns and drive measurable results.

You will lead in-person and virtual sales calls, maintain key accounts, and craft compelling presentations. A strong media background and relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred - ideally a Bachelor's in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field - or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
• A strong understanding of media in all forms (broadcast, digital, streaming, social) is required.
• Experience in in-person, one-on-one sales is required; media sales experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to set long-range objectives and execute the strategies to achieve them.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A positive, collaborative personality that thrives in a team setting.
• Comfort with standard office technology and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Implements strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals across broadcast and digital platforms.
• Establishes credible, client partnerships within the local business community.
• Makes in-person and virtual sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
• Maintains assigned accounts and develops new business.
• Prepares and delivers compelling, customized sales presentations.
• Educates customers on how broadcast, digital, and streaming advertising solutions can most effectively promote their products and services.
• Provides clients with rate and placement information across all media platforms.
• Develops advertising schedules and campaigns in partnership with clients and station personnel.
• Collaborates with clients and station teams to produce effective commercials and digital creative.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
