Hagadone Media Montana’s Daily Inter Lake is seeking a Multimedia Sales Manager to lead a local sales team, accelerate digital and multimedia revenue, and help Northwest Montana businesses succeed. This hands-on leadership role is for a digitally savvy sales professional who can coach account executives, expand digital offerings, and build strong community relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven sales, marketing, or business development experience in digital advertising or media.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies including SEM, SEO, social media, OTT/CTV, and programmatic advertising.
• Experience developing and selling integrated, full-funnel marketing campaigns.
• Previous sales leadership or coaching experience preferred.
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiar with CRM systems and digital analytics.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the local market.

Responsibilities

The Daily Inter Lake / Hagadone Media Montana is looking for a Multimedia Sales Manager who is passionate about full-funnel marketing, enjoys selling and coaching, and knows how to turn great ideas into results.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a digitally savvy sales professional who can help our account executives succeed, accelerate digital revenue growth, and build strong relationships throughout the local business community.

We're looking for someone who understands today's consumer buying journey and multimedia advertising landscape, can confidently recommend effective marketing solutions, and enjoys getting into the market alongside their team. While digital growth will be a primary focus, this position will lead sales efforts across our full portfolio of print, digital, and multimedia products.

This position reports to the Regional Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop account executives through field visits, pipeline reviews, training, and accountability.
• Revenue Growth: Drive digital and multimedia sales strategies to achieve revenue, new-business, and account growth goals.
• New Business Development: Prospect, network, and work alongside account executives to identify opportunities, win new advertisers, and capture competitive market share.
• Consultative Selling: Understand client objectives and develop customized, results-driven marketing campaigns.
• Multimedia Strategies: Lead sales efforts across print, SEM, SEO, social media, OTT/CTV, targeted display, video, podcasts, newsletters, email marketing, and emerging digital solutions.
• Digital Expertise: Stay current on advertising trends, technologies, and campaign performance metrics to help the team confidently sell integrated marketing solutions.
• Client Relationships: Build lasting partnerships, grow key accounts, and demonstrate the value and effectiveness of our advertising solutions.
• Sales Operations: Maintain strong CRM practices, accurate pipelines, forecasting, and timely follow-up.
• Team Development: Recruit, onboard, and train account executives while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Community Engagement: Represent the company through local business organizations, networking, and community involvement.

Qualifications
