Job summary

Hagadone Media Group seeks an Audience Sales & Support Specialist to grow Northwest Montana’s print and digital subscriber base. You’ll blend print and digital subscription sales with customer support, building relationships and turning conversations into readership growth.

Responsibilities include outbound sales, subscriber retention, and collaboration with circulation, marketing, and other teams to enhance the subscriber experience and drive opportunities. Base plus commission included.

Qualifications

• Sales or customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and CRM software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The Daily Inter Lake, a division of Hagadone Media Group, is seeking an energetic Audience Sales & Support Specialist to help grow and support our print and digital subscriber base throughout Northwest Montana. This position combines print and digital subscription sales with customersupport, making it a good fit for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping customers, and turning conversations into opportunities to grow readership.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new print and digital subscription sales through outbound calls, prospecting, and community outreach.
• Assist current subscribers with account questions, subscription options, delivery concerns, and general customer service needs.
• Identify opportunities to retain, upgrade, or win back subscribers.
• Follow up with prospects and customers by phone and email.
• Promote subscription offers, packages, and special promotions.
• Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners.
• Prospect for new customers through referrals, lead generation, events, and community connections.
• Meet monthly subscription sales, retention, and activity goals.
• Maintain accurate prospect and customer records.
• Help resolve subscriber concerns quickly and professionally.
• Work closely with circulation, marketing, and other departments to improve the subscriber experience and grow readership.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is a plus, but paid training is provided.
