Job summary

Gray Media, a leading conglomerate of local television stations and digital assets, is seeking a Multimedia Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales team in the Birmingham market.

The role focuses on developing data-driven multimedia strategies, driving revenue growth across broadcast and digital, and managing a high-performance team of Multimedia Executives. Strong leadership, negotiation skills, and industry experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership track record driving broadcast and/or digital ad sales growth.
• Strong negotiator and closer; builds long-term relationships and repeat business.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and strong follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales strategy and execution to deliver sustained revenue growth across broadcast + digital.
• Create and maintain a high-performance sales culture with clear standards and accountability.
• Develop Birmingham market expertise and turn it into winning revenue initiatives.
• Manage and price inventory; forecast revenue; deliver reports as requested by the General Manager.
• Build and achieve budgets; provide accurate, timely forecasts.
• Strengthen relationships with key clients, agencies, and community partners.
• Join the team on face-to-face sales calls weekly.
• Coach and develop Media Executives; recruit and on-board new talent.
• Use audience measurement tools to deliver insights and effective client solutions.
• Partner across departments to hit company and client goals.
