Job summary

Gray Media’s WMBF-TV is seeking a Multimedia Sales Manager to lead our digital and broadcast sales efforts, working with the Director of Sales on developing the account executive team and strategic revenue growth for the Myrtle Beach market.

You will drive direct local revenue growth, champion digital platforms, and cultivate relationships with local advertisers while guiding campaign delivery and performance for sustained advertiser success.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3+ years of prior success in broadcast television and digital sales.
• Leadership in sales management, coaching, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Time management: meet deadlines, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Technical skills: familiarity with advertising solutions (programmatic, OTT/CTV, social media, SEM/SEO, email), CRM/sales planning software, and MS Office.
• Communication: strong presentation, written, and verbal skills with the ability to confidently present to C-level local executives.
• License: valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Education: bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maximize local direct and digital revenue growth through aggressive business development strategies.
• Coach, mentor, and inspire the sales team; provide regular training on digital products, marketing trends, and consultative sales techniques for developing small businesses and local advertising agencies.
• Assist Media Executives in preparing, presenting, and closing customized multimedia marketing campaigns for key local advertisers.
• Forecast performance with the Director of Sales to accurately project individual and team results against budgets.
• Develop and update sales presentations, collateral, and marketing materials utilizing current station and market research.
• Oversee the digital support team to ensure accurate campaign tracking, optimization, delivery, and post-campaign reporting for advertiser success and retention.
• Build long-term, consultative relationships with local business owners as a market advertising expert.
