Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Technician Level II (Service Technician – Make Ready) to maintain and renovate apartment homes in our Kirkland, WA communities. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs to uphold safety, quality, and appearance, responding to resident requests with superior service.

The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, high school diploma or GED, and proficiency with basic tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience performing maintenance duties.
• Multi-Family maintenance experience helpful.
• HVAC and CPO certification preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Strong communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and performing general duties, preventative maintenance, and repairs consistent with Mill Creek operating and safety standards.
• Thoroughly inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, and re-inspect units for quality and presentation.
• Restore apartments to make ready status after turnover.
• Respond to problems with repairs: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and other systems.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to ensure safety and identify maintenance projects.
• Respond to resident requests promptly, delivering excellent customer service.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with laws and Fair Housing regulations.
• Embodiment of Mill Creek mission and values in daily work.
