Job summary

The Cushman & Wakefield team in Tallahassee is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for multifamily communities. You will support the Property Manager in daily operations, leasing coordination, budgeting, and resident relations to sustain market-ready performance and high service levels.

You will lead on-site staff, ensure policy adherence, handle lease administration, and drive occupancy and renewal efforts while maintaining a positive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of Property Management experience.
• 1+ years of Management experience.
• Ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the community in a fast-paced setting.
• Assist Property Manager with maintenance, budgeting, leasing, and reporting.
• Provide superior resident service and communication to enhance satisfaction and renewals.
• Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.
• Support advertising tracking and client traffic evaluation.
• Model Cushman & Wakefield mission and policies on-site.
• Lead on-site team operations and staff coaching.
• Maintain resident files and a positive living environment.
• Manage overall community budget and financials.
• Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals.
