East 51 in Richmond, VA is seeking a Property Manager to lead the operations of a thriving apartment community and drive financial performance and resident satisfaction. You will oversee leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and staff leadership.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, budgets, and CapEx, while mentoring on-site staff and coordinating with maintenance to ensure quality upkeep and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience, multifamily preferred.
• Supervisory experience with hiring, training, and performance management.
• Strong financial and budgeting skills; experience with financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, financial performance, and resident satisfaction.
• Hire, train, and lead on-site staff with coaching and feedback.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial reports, and CapEx projects.
• Drive occupancy, retention, and marketing initiatives to meet goals.
• Oversee rent collection, lease compliance, and legal processes as needed.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor for timely unit turns and upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, and regulations.
