Metropolis in Glen Allen, VA seeks a Property Manager to oversee all phases of property operation under the Regional Property Manager, including administration, maintenance, leasing, budgeting and staff supervision.

Responsibilities include hiring and evaluating staff, processing leases and rents, coordinating repairs, managing vendors, monitoring budgets, handling resident relations, and ensuring a clean, well‑maintained community; travel is required.

Qualifications

• 4 year Degree (preferred).
• 2 year Associates Degree.
• 7 years general, full-time business experience.
• 3 years experience in Property Management.
• Experience in property management or related field.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage budgets.
• ARM/CAM/RAM/HCCP certifications preferred.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise staff under their direction.
• Hire, terminate, and evaluate employees; recommend raises.
• Prepare leases and related forms; collect rents and handle delinquencies.
• Maintain payroll records and adhere to policies.
• Monitor property finances and budgeting; manage external vendors.
• Oversee move-ins/move-outs and property inspections.
• Ensure a clean, well-maintained community; address resident complaints.
• Prepare annual operating budget with Regional Property Manager.
• Travel as required.
