Cushman & Wakefield in Tallahassee is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for multifamily communities to ensure market-ready operations and high service levels.

You will lead on-site teams, assist the Property Manager with operations, budgeting, leasing, marketing, and vendor contracts, and uphold Cushman & Wakefield policies.

The role requires 3+ years of property management and 1+ year of management experience, with a Bachelor's preferred. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years of Property Management experience.
• 1+ years of Management experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist the Property Manager with operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
• Assist the Property Manager with providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
• Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.
• Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.
• Assist the team by maintaining Cushman & Wakefield mission to be the best national management company.
• Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
• Maintain residents' files in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain a positive living environment for residents through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up.
• Manage and maintain all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
• Work with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are met.
