Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of buildings, grounds, and amenities.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with make-ready activities for new residents. The role requires safety compliance, timely documentation, and occasional off-site inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications (Type 1 & II or Universal) required.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property, depending on size.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, and ensuring task completion.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from maintenance, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required

Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
