Job summary

Mill Creek Residential in Austin, TX is seeking a Service Technician I to perform maintenance, painting, cleaning, and groundskeeping across assigned communities. The role is hands-on, focusing on safety, timely repairs, and high-quality curb appeal.

Responsibilities include responding to resident requests, performing routine repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry), making-ready units, and assisting with inspections. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and basic maintenance skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience performing maintenance duties helpful.
• Multi-family maintenance experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition and appearance of the community per safety standards.
• Perform general maintenance, cleaning, janitorial, and groundskeeping tasks.
• Address repairs in vacant and occupied homes (painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Replace light bulbs in common areas and buildings.
• Pressure wash buildings and parking areas as needed.
• Routinely inspect grounds and buildings for safety and maintenance needs.
• Respond to resident requests promptly with excellent customer service.
• Support on-site safety practices and regulatory compliance.
