Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Technician I to maintain the community’s curb appeal and physical condition. This hands-on role performs routine maintenance, painting, cleaning and groundskeeping, and responds promptly to service requests.

You will inspect and repair vacancies and occupied homes, keep grounds and common areas safe, and ensure safety standards while delivering excellent resident service and coordinating with on-site managers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience performing maintenance duties is helpful.
• Multifamily maintenance experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition and appearance of an assigned community according to safety standards.
• Assist in general duties, preventative maintenance, repairs, cleaning and janitorial, and groundskeeping.
• Maintain buildings, corridors, stairwells and breezeways free of trash and debris.
• Perform maintenance in vacant apartment homes and painting in vacant homes.
• Respond to service requests in occupied apartments; address problems with routine repairs.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to ensure safety and identify maintenance projects.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and comply with Fair Housing regulations.
