Job summary

Asset Living in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property operations by performing corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision. You will handle make-ready tasks, respond to work orders, maintain pools and logs, inspect grounds daily, and contribute to a safe, well-kept community.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with the maintenance of community common areas, buildings, and units.
• Assist with scheduling and performance of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Maintain swimming pool maintenance and chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the property and reduce future repairs.
