Job summary

Abode Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Los Angeles, CA to work with the Community Manager to keep properties in excellent condition. You will handle maintenance tasks, respond to resident requests, and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely repairs.

Requirements include at least 3 years of maintenance experience, ability to read/write/speak English, basic computer skills, and a valid CA driver's license. Weekend and after-hours availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years general maintenance experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic computer skills and valid California drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor property maintenance and repairs as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Prioritize, schedule and complete resident service requests for unit repairs and janitorial duties.
• Coordinate and monitor progress of vendors or outside contractors.
• Inspect property daily and report needed repairs to the Community Manager.
• Respond to after-hours and weekend maintenance emergencies.
