Job summary

Birge & Held Group LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple Columbus, OH multifamily communities. You will lead the on-site Customer Experience Team, drive resident satisfaction, and coordinate with centralized teams to maximize property value through operational excellence.

You should bring at least 3 years of management experience, strong customer service focus, and proficiency with property management software.

Qualifications

Demonstrated passion for customer service.
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum of three (3) years of management experience leading a team.
Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in multifamily or hospitality industries preferred.
Experience in property financial analysis and ability to read financial reports.
Proficiency in property management software (Onesite/Yardi) and MS Office/CRM tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple apartment communities.
Lead the onsite Customer Experience Team; drive resident and prospect satisfaction.
Collaborate with Marketing to support occupancy and revenue goals.
Coordinate resident screening, renewals, and billbacks with centralized teams.
Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
