Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple multifamily communities in Columbus, OH. You will manage the on-site Customer Experience Team, optimize resident satisfaction, and work with centralized teams to maximize property value through operational excellence and detailed KPI tracking.

You will lead leasing processes, collaborate with marketing, and ensure compliance with housing laws while driving financial performance and superior resident

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience leading a team.
• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in multifamily or hospitality.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Onesite, Yardi, or similar), Microsoft Office suite, and CRM tools.
• Be a self-starter with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset to address concerns.

Responsibilities

• Oversee eviction processes per company policy.
• Manage budgets to maintain financial goals and quality.
• Monitor asset condition and curb appeal; ensure safe environments.
• Coordinate repairs and upgrades to maintain property value.
• Lead the on-site Customer Experience Team and drive resident satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Marketing for leasing and occupancy goals.
• Partner with Resident Screening, Resident Services, AR for seamless operations.
• Prepare regular reports on property performance and efficiency.
