Job summary

Birge & Held Group LLC in Granger, IN is seeking an Operations Manager to supervise the day-to-day operations of a 400-unit multifamily community and to lead the on-site Customer Experience Team. The role emphasizes maintaining curb appeal, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence.

The position reports to the Regional Property Manager and requires strong budgeting, leadership, and collaboration with centralized teams to maximize property value through effective management and service

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience leading a team.
• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in multi-family or hospitality preferred.
• Experience in property financial analysis and ability to read financial reports.
• Proficiency in property management software (Onesite, Yardi) and Microsoft Office; CRM tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of multiple multifamily communities.
• Lead the onsite Customer Experience Team.
• Maintain financial goals and budgeting for properties.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA and related laws.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support leasing and occupancy goals.
• Prepare regular reports on property performance and resident satisfaction.
