Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and well‑maintained living environment. You will support the Lead Technician, inspect vacated units, and help prepare apartments for new residents while mentoring maintenance staff.

This on-site role requires physical fitness, adherence to safety practices, and the ability to handle on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements of the position.
• Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday; weekly schedule may vary.
• On-call work may be necessary.
• Must wear a back-support belt and gloves for safety.
• Non-flat-bottom footwear required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct duties in compliance with policies and laws including OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing.
• Inspect vacated apartments and assess make-ready needs; communicate services.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units and maintain grounds.
• Prepare apartments for new residents and ensure market-ready condition.
• Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
