Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily properties in Cape Coral, FL. You will perform make-readies, respond to resident requests, and support timely, quality service to residents.

The role requires knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting; on-call availability; safety compliance; and a commitment to professional appearance and on-site presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, with trade/technical training preferred.
• 1+ years of related maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting and basic groundskeeping.

Responsibilities

• Prepares make-ready apartments including painting, carpet repairs, cleaning and general upkeep.
• Responds promptly to resident requests with a professional attitude.
• Perform maintenance tasks as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Maintain grounds, pools, common areas, and amenities in a safe, clean condition.
• On-call may be required to respond to after-hours emergencies.

Skills

Valid Driver's license

EPA 608 Type II

CP0 or local city required certificate

Reading/comprehension of policy/safety

Education

High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
