Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to preserve the physical integrity of multifamily communities through routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative services, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for residents and staff.

The role collaborates with the Property Manager to diagnose issues, complete service requests, and ensure vacant units are prepared promptly for new residents, contributing to resident satisfaction and asset preservation.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Availability for on-call rotation and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & repairs of residential units and common areas.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and building systems.
• Complete service requests timely and professionally.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Make-ready and unit turns for new residents.
• Preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems.
• Identify and report potential issues before major repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds and common areas.
• Assist with trash removal, pressure washing, and general upkeep.
• Follow OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing regulations; maintain records.
• Provide courteous service to residents and communicate timelines.
