Job summary

Millcroft Apartments seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks across residential units and common areas. You will support safe operations, respond to service requests, and help with life-safety compliance.

The role requires basic trades knowledge, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions. Training and team collaboration are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repair work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and building systems.
• Assist with unit turns, including inspections, repairs, and readiness for occupancy.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and services.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and potential system failures.
• Document completed work and inspection findings in the maintenance management system.
• Complete assigned PM tasks in accordance with schedules.

Education

High school diploma
