Job summary

B.HOM Student Living LLC in Urbana, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to maintenance requests and keep our community safe and well-maintained.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and perform preventative maintenance and unit turns for new residents. The role requires strong problem-solving, customer service, and the ability to work independently, including after-hours on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability for night, weekend and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete maintenance repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances.
• Perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and safety inspections.
• Inspect property and coordinate with vendors for maintenance projects.
• Document work orders and maintain safety standards.
