B.HOM Student Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to maintenance requests and support the upkeep of a multifamily community in San Marcos, Texas. You will perform preventative maintenance, unit turns, and emergency repairs while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, effective communication, and the ability to work independently with on-call requirements, including nights and weekends based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and support upkeep of the community.
• Perform preventative maintenance, unit turns, repairs, and emergency maintenance.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and common areas for maintenance needs.
• Assist with vendor scheduling, coordination, and oversight of maintenance projects.
• Maintain safety and compliance through proper procedures and trainings.
