Job summary

Equity Residential seeks a Maintenance Technician to address resident service requests, perform hands-on maintenance, and keep market-ready apartments. You will also assist with preventative maintenance and caring for grounds and common areas.

Ideal candidates troubleshoot plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and HVAC, hold a high school diploma, and can work flexible shifts including weekends. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances and HVAC as applicable.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws preferred.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation required when operating a vehicle.
