Job summary

RangeWater is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Lakeland, FL properties. The role performs essential maintenance on buildings, grounds, and amenities, handling work orders and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will manage make-ready tasks, coordinate with vendors, and maintain accurate records for quick leasing turnover. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent, solid communication skills, and proficiency with property management

Qualifications

• Strong communication and delivery skills to connect with residents and colleagues.
• Experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with property management software for reporting (Entrata/Yardi/OneSite).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks to keep buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas up to standards.
• Complete work orders from residents within 24–48 hours and conduct make-ready inspections.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and track inventory.
• Inspect contractor work for quality and safety compliance; report issues to management.
• Document service activity accurately to ensure proper record-keeping.
