Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle move-in readiness, preventive maintenance, and daily repairs across the community.

You will manage work orders, coordinate with contractors, perform detailed inspections, and ensure safety standards are met. The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and related tasks, with driving responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc. required.
• Three of multi-family property management or other building maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills, including measurement for calculations, estimating, and averages.
• Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment to meet company goals.
• Experience in safe handling and use of tools used in construction, maintenance, and landscaping.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and access confined spaces or heights.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and comply with motor vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing move-in ready apartments with painting, carpet cleaning, and repairs.
• Manage all maintenance needs to meet company standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and data collection submissions.
• Handle all work orders and prioritize requests.
• Conduct daily community inspections and keep grounds clean.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repairs and related tasks.
• Monitor mechanical equipment and safety systems throughout the community.
• Coordinate with contractors as needed to address maintenance needs.
• Organize maintenance storage and ensure proper use of tools and vehicles.
• May drive company or personal vehicle as required and act as manager on duty.
