Job summary

Avanath is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to keep multifamily communities well maintained and welcoming for residents. You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and pools, while delivering strong customer service and being available on-call.

EPA Type II or Universal certification is preferred; CPO is a plus. Reliable transportation and teamwork are essential to support residents and staff in a fast-paced property environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Hands-on maintenance skills across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, and pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on-call to address emergencies.
• Reliable transportation.
• Superior customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows, Word, Excel), internet, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service with every interaction and delivers high-quality maintenance service.
• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing the source of defects and making repairs in line with safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing.
