Job summary

Pickering & Company, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Family Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team in Greensboro, NC. The role requires experience in apartment maintenance, strong carpentry, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing skills, and the ability to work weekends and be on-call.

Certifications (CFC/CPO) are required or must be obtained within a set deadline. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to multitask, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining community assets and

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• CFC and CPO certifications required or be willing to obtain.
• Experience in Multi-Family Apartment Maintenance.
• Weekend and on-call duties are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds clean and free of trash.
• Complete all work in a timely manner without sacrificing quality.
• Maintain resident retention through preventative maintenance, work orders and turns.
• Maintain and track all community assets.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls.
• Respond to resident service calls promptly.
• Use electronic devices to log work orders and daily emails.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and residents.
• Develop plans to improve efficiency.
• Be dependable—regular attendance is expected.
• Be able to lift objects over 10 lbs and handle strenuous tasks.
• Have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
