Job summary

Brooks North Apartments in Greensboro, NC is seeking a well-rounded Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform a variety of interior and exterior maintenance tasks, respond to resident requests, and work with vendors to keep the community in top condition.

The right candidate has 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a multi-family setting, HS diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain CPO/CFC certifications. Flexible schedule and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus two years maintenance experience.
• CPO and CFC certifications strongly preferred (or obtainable soon).
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekdays and weekends.
• Available for after-hours on-call service on a rotating schedule.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• 1–3 years maintenance experience in a multi-family environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance and repairs.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance systems.
• Address resident work orders promptly and professionally.
• Maintain privacy and provide excellent customer service when entering apartments.
• Coordinate with landscaping, painting, pest control and other contractors.
• Adhere to safety and OSHA requirements and obtain required certifications.
• Additional duties as assigned.
