Pickering & Company Inc in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Multi-Family Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle work orders, and respond to after-hours emergencies, ensuring high-quality service for residents.

Experience in carpentry, general maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing is required. CFC and CPO certifications or willingness to obtain by start date are needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-family apartment maintenance.
• Carpentry, general maintenance, HVAC, electrical and plumbing exposure.
• CFC and CPO certifications or willingness to obtain by start date.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Weekend and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds clean and free of trash
• Complete all work in a timely manner without sacrificing quality of work
• Maintain resident retention through preventative maintenance, work orders and turns
• Maintain and track all community assets
• Respond to all after-hours emergency calls
• Respond to resident service calls promptly
• Use electronic devices to track and log work orders
• Maintain professional behavior and communicate with vendors and residents
• Be dependable; regular attendance required
• Lift objects heavier than 10lbs and perform strenuous tasks
• Have dependable transportation
• A valid driver's license
