Job summary

Harbor Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a multifamily community. This hands-on lead role manages the maintenance team, coordinates with vendors, and oversees preventative maintenance to uphold safety, cleanliness, and appearance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multifamily maintenance with supervisory experience, HVAC/EPA certification, and strong organizational skills. On-site responsibilities require reliability and strong customer service for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in multifamily property maintenance.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification as required.
• Proficiency with maintenance tasks and diagnostics.
• Experience with PM, safety, and MSDS management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide the maintenance team to complete tasks on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry and appliance issues.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders per standards.
• Oversee make-ready process including inspections and vendor scheduling.
• Ensure common areas are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Schedule in-house and contractor work; document monthly PMs.
• Maintain inventory, order materials, and manage budget adherence.
• Ensure safety protocols with MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Inspect staff work for quality and compliance; communicate with residents.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and avoid unnecessary replacements.
