Harbor Group Management in Canal Winchester, OH is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across the community, lead a hands-on team, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal. The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and responsive service to residents.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry issues; manage make-ready steps, scheduling, and budget-conscious inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in multifamily property maintenance, including turnover/make-ready.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Expertise in general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification as property requirements dictate.
• Proficiency in diagnosing maintenance issues and providing effective solutions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available for emergency on-call, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; PM software and maintenance ticketing system experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for on-property operations.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, train, and guide the maintenance team to complete tasks on time.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances, carpentry.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders per standards.
• Oversee make-ready process: inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, quality checks.
• Ensure common areas, exteriors, and grounds are clean, safe and visually appealing.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and contractor work.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policies.
• Maintain organized inventory; order materials within budget.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure OSHA/MSDS compliance.
• Inspect staff, vendors, and contractors’ work for quality and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service and address resident concerns promptly.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and avoid unnecessary replacements.
