Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations at an assigned apartment community in Tucson, AZ. The role combines hands-on repairs (60–70%) with supervising staff and outside contractors to maintain safety, curb appeal, and resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of maintenance supervision experience, EPA Type II certification, and resides within 30 miles of the property. A valid license and vehicle are required for on-site duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance supervisory experience required; experience in the multifamily industry highly preferred.
• EPA certification Type II Required; CPO preferred
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance; own vehicle required
• General maintenance equipment experience including hand tools, ladders, HVAC systems, and plumbing/electrical basics

Responsibilities

• Spends 60–70% of time on hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks, rest of time supervising staff and contractors
• Assist Property Manager in delivering Peak Simply Service Standards
• Prioritize service requests and ensure timely completion
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to maintain curb appeal and safety
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend asset life
• Manage maintenance supply inventory within budget
• Direct workers during turns and supervise vendors/contractors
• Prepare vacant units for marketing and ensure proper cleaning/restoration
