Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a multifamily community in Florida. The role leads the on-site maintenance team, performs hands-on repairs, and ensures safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, manage vendor relationships, handle work orders, and participate in make-ready inspections to ensure rapid, high-quality turnovers. Strong communication and practical trades skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in multifamily property maintenance, turnover/make-ready experience.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Proficient in diagnosing maintenance issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Respond to resident service requests and close work orders per standards.
• Oversee make-ready process: inspections, punch lists, vendor coordination, and quality checks.
• Ensure common areas, exteriors, and grounds are clean, safe, and presentable.
