Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a multifamily maintenance team in Largo, MD. You will oversee service requests, preventative maintenance, and vendor coordination to uphold safety, cleanliness, and appearance across communities.

You will manage daily operations, drive quality, and ensure on-time completion while delivering excellent resident service. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills and leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in multifamily property maintenance, including turnover/make-ready processes.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Expertise in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification may be required by property.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide the maintenance team to complete tasks on time and to standards.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and general property issues.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders per timelines.
• Oversee make-ready processes, inspections, vendor scheduling, and final QC.
• Maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing common areas and exterior spaces.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and contractor work.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and manage inventory within budget.
• Ensure safety with regular meetings and updated MSDS sheets.
