Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform maintenance operations across our multifamily communities. You will lead the maintenance team, handle service requests, and coordinate with vendors to maintain safety, cleanliness, functionality, and appearance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in multifamily property maintenance.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification where required by property.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the maintenance team; ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders per standards.
• Oversee make-ready processes: inspections, punch lists, scheduling, quality checks.
• Ensure common areas, exteriors, and grounds are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Schedule in-house and contractor work; manage inventory and budget guidance.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policy; maintain MSDS sheets and safety compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally.
