Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for multifamily properties. You will lead maintenance activities to ensure quality move-ins, safe environments, and resident satisfaction. The role requires hands-on skills, strong scheduling, and on-call responsiveness.

You will manage preventative tasks, handle various trades, and ensure compliance with housing laws while delivering exceptional service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
• 3+ years of related experience in maintenance/supervisor roles.
• EPA 608 Type II certification or equivalent city requirement (CPO may be required).
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Knowledge of housing laws, codes, and safety standards applicable to multifamily properties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare market-ready apartments (painting, cleaning, repairs) to deliver a quality product.
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform maintenance functions (plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Maintain grounds, pools, common areas, and dog parks in clean condition.
• On-call emergency procedures outside regular hours as needed.
• Report budget-impacting issues (life safety, damages) to management.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and document activities.
• Stay informed on applicable housing laws and safety policies.
• Attend training programs as required and represent Cushman & Wakefield professionally.
