Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily properties in top condition and deliver exceptional resident service.

You will handle preventive and reactive maintenance, assist in make-ready tasks, and help maintain curb appeal while supporting a safe, compliant environment for residents and staff. A strong service mindset and teamwork are essential to succeed at Avanath.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience required.
• Hands-on maintenance skills: plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, HVAC, appliances.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on-call to address emergencies.
• Reliable transportation.
• Superior customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer knowledge: Windows, Word, Excel, email.

Responsabilités

• Provides exceptional customer service with every interaction and delivers high-quality maintenance service.
• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and making repairs per safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and new move-ins, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning, painting, and upkeep as needed.
• Helps control costs by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible and monitors inventory.
• Follows safety policies, attends safety meetings, and reports incidents promptly.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements including Fair Housing and ADA.
