Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain our communities, ensuring good working order and curb appeal while delivering exceptional resident service. Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience is highly desired.
• Hands-on maintenance skills covering plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.
• Availability to be on-call to address emergencies.
• Reliable transportation and a positive attitude to learn and grow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and superior customer service.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, internet, email).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction and high-quality maintenance service.
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs per safety standards and codes.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant homes, coordinate inspections, and manage vendor coordination when needed.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist in cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible and tracking inventory.
