Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Painter to assist in maintenance across properties. The role covers corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

You will participate in making ready units for move-in, respond to resident requests and work orders promptly, and ensure repairs in common areas and units while adhering to safety standards and policies. Regular on-site attendance is required.

Qualifications

• On-site customer and resident relations experience is required.
• Basic computer skills to understand on-site software.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in and make-ready board with supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Ensure repairs and replacements for common areas and units.
• Follow Asset Plus key policy.
• Maintain organized, safe maintenance shop per OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with hazard communications program and safe practices.
• Participate in unit inspections as requested.
• Report violations to supervision.
• Manage resources efficiently.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager with additional tasks.
• Deliver excellent customer service and monitor response times.
