Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Painter to assist in maintenance of our properties and to ensure make-ready units align with operational goals. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to complete routine, cosmetic, and corrective tasks across community sites.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and responsive service to residents, with opportunities to participate in special projects and ongoing training within a dynamic, growth‑driven organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in and make-ready process under supervision.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager on safety programs and inspections.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional image with residents.
