Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Painter to support maintenance operations across properties. You will assist with make-ready tasks, cosmetic repairs, and routine maintenance to ensure high-quality housing environments.

The role emphasizes on-site attendance, safety practices, and responsiveness to work orders. Candidates should have a high school diploma and basic computer skills, with knowledge of housing laws and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community maintenance: assist in preparation of vacant units and other maintenance tasks.
• Regular/daily on-site attendance required.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure all repairs and replacements for common areas and units meet quality standards.
• Follow Asset Plus policies and maintain a safe, well-organized maintenance shop.
• Assist in maintaining hazard communication program and promote safe work practices.
• Participate in unit inspections as requested.
• Report violations of community rules to the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.
