Job summary

Allied-Orion-Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to manage make-ready, preventive maintenance, and repairs for an apartment community in Houston. You will work with the Community Manager and Service Manager to ensure timely turnarounds and a safe, well-maintained property.

You will handle plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and mold detection while coordinating with vendors and ensuring on-site grounds and pool areas are cared for.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of multi-family experience or equivalent.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery certification within 6 months of employment.
• Training in plumbing, mold detection/resolution preferred.
• CAMT certification and city/state permits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry as needed.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in and perform make-ready tasks.
• Maintain grounds and pool areas per property needs.
• Adhere to safety, confidentiality, and company procedures.
