Job summary

Allied Orion Group is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee the physical property, general maintenance repairs, and apartment make-ready for an apartment community in Fort Worth, TX. The role leads the maintenance staff, coordinates resident work orders, and ensures safety and compliance across all tasks.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work, with a track record of budget management and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of multi-family experience or equivalent combination demonstrating ability to perform duties.
• EPA Section 608 HVAC certification required; boiler repair, plumbing and mold detection training required; CAMT preferred and CPO required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and schedule maintenance activities for the community and staff.
• Coordinate, schedule and respond to resident requests and work orders.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in.
• Coordinate safety and skills training for maintenance personnel.
• Identify hazardous property conditions and address them to limit liability.
• Order supplies and manage the maintenance budget.
• Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and units.
