SCG Development Partners, LLC in Tysons, VA seeks a Development Design and Construction Manager to lead design, preconstruction, and construction for multifamily projects. You will coordinate consultants and contractors, manage risks, and report progress to senior leadership.

The role requires strong budgeting and scheduling skills, mentoring of junior staff, and familiarity with affordable housing programs within a collaborative development team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction management for multifamily projects.
• Bachelor's degree in CM or related field; relevant experience considered.
• Ability to read architectural/engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience with budgeting, procurement, scheduling, change management, and closeout.
• Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Experience mentoring junior staff preferred and understanding affordable housing programs.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and construction activities from inception through turnover.
• Coordinate consultants and contractors, manage risks, and report to leadership.
• Ensure site safety and adherence to scope, cost, and schedule.
• Collaborate with development team and asset management during handover.
