Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Construction Manager 2 in Tysons, VA to lead day-to-day site operations, ensure safety and quality, and develop a comprehensive scope matrix with site logistics and work packages.

The role requires evaluating subcontractor quotes, directing scheduling and field commissioning, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and applying QA/QC and cost-control practices across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related construction experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Executes development of a comprehensive scope matrix, site logistics, resource requirements, and initial work packages.
• Manages site surveys, reviews engineering documentation for compliance, and oversees scheduling and field commissioning activities.
• Engages with customers and stakeholders to build buy-in for modular construction projects and QA/QC plans.
• Leads project planning, logistics using 3D scans, and testing/commissioning requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Uses InfraLink for project management, reporting, and documentation control.
• Oversees procurement, BOM verification, subcontractor selection, change orders, and cost-saving strategies.
