Job summary

The NRP Group LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support multi-family construction projects in Miami. Under the direction of the Project Manager, you will help with budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring quality and safety on site.

This role provides growth opportunities within a national, award-winning developer. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in construction management, strong proficiency in Excel/Office, and familiarity with project controls and contract administration to help drive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Civil related field (Ex: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology) preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred 3+ years of experience managing the construction of multi-family projects with stable employment history and proven track record.
Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of Timberline, Bluebeam, Adobe and Onscreen Takeoff software a plus.
Driver’s License Required: Yes

Responsibilities

Assist in charting out the project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants.
Assist in bringing about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms.
Assist in implementation of various operations through proper coordination.
Assist in development of effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants.
Assist in maintaining a project budget and ensuring schedule adherence and change management.
Assist in coordinating subcontractors, reviewing submittals, RFIs, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.
