Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for multifamily communities in Portland, OR. You will support the Property Manager in daily operations, lead on-site teams, and ensure a high standard of service across the property.

This role emphasizes leasing, budgeting, tenant relations, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in property management, 1+ year in supervision, and strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Property Management experience.
• 1+ years of Management experience.
• Experience coordinating leasing, budgeting and marketing processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of the community in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist the Property Manager with overall operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy avoidance, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits.
• Assist with superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and renewals.
• Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.
• Track and evaluate advertising and client traffic.
• Support the on-site team and ensure Cushman & Wakefield policies are followed.
• Hire and coach on-site staff to maintain effective operations.
• Maintain residents' files per company standards.
• Foster a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up.
• Manage overall community budget and finances, and work with leasing staff toward goals.
