Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist in the upkeep of our facility in Maryland. You will support the Maintenance Manager with routine and preventative tasks, HVAC work, and general repairs, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in maintenance, basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical knowledge, and is comfortable using hand and power tools. A collaborative, proactive attitude is essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High School education or GED required; some college preferred.
2+ years maintenance or similar experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general construction/carpentry.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Able to work independently or in teams; strong judgment and resourcefulness.

Responsibilities

Performs duties safely following company rules and policies.
Conducts minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as needed.
Assists in preventative, routine, and breakdown maintenance on facility equipment.
Performs routine HVAC filter cleaning and replacements.
Maintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
Completes work orders and develops knowledge of facility equipment.
Ensures compliance with policies and required training (Safety, Quality, Regulations).
Unloads freight deliveries as needed.
